Soon after setting up the firm Andrew went into partnership with Michael Hanley. Together they built up the firm employing many of the staff and partners of today.
They put our clients at the heart of everything we do. They built a reputation for integrity, independence and tenacity, especially with the most challenging cases.
They encouraged solicitors to specialise in one area of law and the firm became a centre of excellence and expertise in it's core areas of immigration, family, crime, public law and human rights. Sadly Andrew passed away in 2001 but his memory and belief in justice for all lives on.
The Wilsons of today is a Limited Liability Partnership with 17 partners and we now specialise in immigration, family, and public law (including human rights).
We are still firmly rooted in Tottenham where we now occupy three buildings along the High Road. We now have a central London office too. This is located near Chancery Lane so we are better able to serve clients living or working in central London.
We continue to be committed to the legal aid scheme and representing vulnerable individuals. At the same time we have developed a thriving private client practice representing individuals, charities, businesses, local authorities, and non-governmental organisations.
