Jed Pennington is made a Partner at Wilsons

We are very pleased to announce that Jed Pennington has been made a Partner at Wilsons. Jed is a specialist public law solicitor who qualified in 2010. He trained as an immigration and public
law solicitor at Wilsons, before working for over a decade at another leading firm. He returned to Wilsons in 2021.

Jed’s practice focusses on challenging abuses of power in the immigration system - through judicial reviews, civil actions, inquests, and complaints processes. He has developed a reputation of excellence in this work and now leads a team within Wilsons’ Public Law Department that focusses on it. His work currently includes: acting for a claimant in one of the lead judicial reviews that challenge the government’s policy of relocating asylum seekers to Rwanda; representing a number of individuals detained in very poor conditions at the controversial Manston facility; and acting in judicial reviews that challenge the policy of GPS tagging of people on immigration bail.
